About this experience
Very often those who visit Rio imagine that the city's beaches are only those of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. In truth, the coast is more than 50 km long, and there are beaches to the south that will surprise you!
I want to offer you a day to discover some of the most beautiful beaches on the Carioca coast but not only that: we will go to visit the wonderful Sitio Burle Marx which is about to be included in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO and we will also get to know one of the best production companies artisan cachaça, where I'm sure you won't want to miss out on tasting some of the house's delicious products.
I am a professional tourism guide, I love to tell, not just present, Rio de Janeiro in all its natural and historical uniqueness and I do it with pleasure both in my native language, Italian, and in French, Portuguese, Spanish and English .

Itinerary and highlights
Our tour will begin knowing the modern district of Barra da Tijuca and its wonderful La Reserva beach
Continuing along the coast we will reach the beach of Recreio dos Bandeirantes and we will know the famous Praia da Macumba
The next stop is in the fantastic "Prainha" beach surrounded by the greenery of the Mata Atlantica
We will admire the splendid natural expanse of the Restinga and the beach of Marambaia from above
After the lunch break we will get to know the Sitio Burle Marx, the residence of the greatest Brazilian landscape architect who created one of the most important tropical and sub-tropical plant collections in the world in around 100 acres of land.
At the exit of the Sitio Burle Marx we will then go to visit a craft production of Cachaça, the typical brandy of Brazil, where we will be able to directly see the phases of the production of this sugar cane distillate, taste the various qualities proposed by the house (I recommend the one with coffee and chocolate and the one with lemon ...) and maybe drink a good coffee in the beautiful garden.
On the way back we will then stop at Grumari beach where we can admire a beautiful sunset in this natural reserve of rare beauty.
